Under the term "Learning Style" there are several dozens of theories, modeling/describing and measuring learners preferences. What are the principles, or guidances to select one or other? Sometimes one can find expressions like: "widely used, very extended, many applications", and others, trying to show some kind of "popularity", but in Science, verifiable, independent indicators are preferable, to subjectively based ones.

Everything will depend on what are you going to teach and how do you want to teach. I suggest to make a program of the contents you want to teach: Objectives, Competences, methodology, what kind of activities are you going to use, available media...
There is no concret way to act, because there are many variables we have to take into consideration, so that learning styles will be different depending on the criteria of the designed program.
You will have to decide on your own the best way(s) to teach and the style(s) that fits better to your program

I think that every time needs a different learning style. Is not the same Platon´time that millennials´time. Technology is a great factor now. My proposition: Conectivism.

I disagree with Edgard an Hassan, even thou there is no care evidence on the matter and different questionaries shows different things, the problomen on that answers is that there is no "one and only" program that fits all realities.
So, my suggestion is that you should choose a model, not a theory, that fits better for your students, as René points.

The video expand my thoughts nevertheless, I am still a big fan of learning styles.
