Is there a way to permeabilize live cells without losing cytosolic proteins?

I would like to permeabilize live cells to allow flow of small molecules (guaninine nucleotides) in and out of the cell. But, I do not want to lose all the intracellular cytosolic proteins. Is there possibly a way to strike the right balance in pore size?

You might be able to deliver guanine nucleotides into cells by using nucleotide-loaded liposomes.
