Hi!
I am tasked with the development of an engine speed control mode, for a power plant. I am trying to model the engine in the Simscape environment, in which the engine can be modeled as a function of Engine Speed V/S Engine Torque. The Engine torque can be integrated to get the engine speed.
However, I am not getting a head way with the throttle input to this block, which i need to evaluate through a PID controller.
Therefore, I need to develop a model which converts the error signal into a throttle up and down signal.
Can anyone help me out here with the concept?

The article shared does help to some extent. Though it is based on the idle speed control, but as the idle speed is being controlled through the throttle, the document does help.
