yes. Put in a platinum electrode with a trapped hydrogen bubble. This electrode would be a RHE. The potential value will vary with the pH.

The electrode might not be stable in all cases though. What is your solution?

Mine is an aqueous salt solution. The salt dissolved are standard alkalihalides. 

I would suggest to use the buffered solution. If you want to look at the effect of pH, use buffered solutions with different pH

Thanks you Dr. Paech. That is a simple way to track but am not sure about the quantitative nature of the results obtained using dyes.

The answer is very simple. Put a combined pH sensor in your cell and use any available pH meter to measure pH.. Manually record from time to time the pH meter reading.

If you have an automatic titrator use it to track the pH variations.
