In my opinion these information need to be verified. During ethnobotanical field tours in various places in West Bengal I came to know that many plants are used as antidote to shake bite. However, there is a big question; how many of them are really effective.

Hamed: You check your findings again and again with various kinds of snakes; if the effect is consistent then it is really a very good findings which might have practical utility as well.
