I have to purify a protein that involves the purification steps similar to the one in the link http://enzyme.ucd.ie/main/index.php/PKA_purification
However we do not have P11 resin and it appears cumbersome to prepare. Is there another resin that can be used instead?

Hello. Thank you for the suggestions. I am planning to purify a protien, (N-myrsitoyl Transferase) and the recommended protocol is using P11 resin. I have cloned a variant of the protein with a His-Tag but so far see little activity. Just wanted to cover my bases and purify it as recommended to check activity.
IEX resin is a standard resin for most protein purification, cation or anion EX depends on pI of your protein.
