Thoughts are the foundation of any roadway, I was listening to an inspirational speaker yesterday and she gave a perfect example, of a family going in a car on a vacation or road trip, they were all talking, singing and having fun, then suddenly some other car overtook their car, and the husband/father who was driving suddenly had a thought of going ahead of that car, and a single thought in his mind changed everything, he got tense, and started driving fast, now his attention was focused on cutting of the other car, so the singing, talking, eating everything stopped, and he also got upset if anyone tried to talk with him, few times he even got angry at his wife for talking to him, so a single thought can lead us to either positive or negative mind set which could effect the roadway to our future.

Should we cast judgement on our thoughts in the sense that they should be controlled, i.e. that certain thoughts are unacceptable to have?

I tend to be a materialist determinist. We are part of the universe we are embedded in, and the processes called "thoughts" are a part as well. Being determinist, the universe doesn't permit our thoughts to be random or controlled by us. Both randomness and control are our illusions. 

This doesn't mean that there is no feed-back between thoughts and the rest of the universe. A clear and direct connection is of course the obvious one: our thoughts influence our behavior, which has effects on the universe and can sometimes influence the future much more than we dare to believe, both directly or by some butterfly effects.

There is another theory (in fact, it should be called hypothesis) around, telling that the universe was a machine which tries to satisfy every thought, like Alladin's spirit telling "your wish is my command". The materialist and determinist vision of the universe does not exclude this hypothesis, which might be true. But of course, for the time being we have no way to prove or at least to justify this hypothesis.

It doesn't matter if it's expressed or not, but action towards accomplishing the dream needs to be sustainable.

as a view there is no individual thought becuase many of seince play a rule in this game. However, I belive a revolution in seinceis on the way...

@Krishnan:  "I like to have the wind blowing upon me"  and have picked a path seeing the trees blowing in the wind from a distance, but do not realize that I would be unable to sustain the wind force. If this chosen direction towards the wind is not so very old to be so narrow without leeway; on a second view, having learned about huricanes, the thought in specific relation to the setting I imagined, might no longer arise to me.

action with intent more so.

certain future events (forecasted in scriptural revelation testimony) are a given.

most of the predictions have already come to pass.

how we get there, our intent and action have an effect.

I agree & appreciate the views expressed by Mala Shroff regarding '' Single thought can lead us either positive or Negative Mind set..

Our Mind is all the time a thinking process & this thinking line of action helps as to take a right course of action for our Life -Line . If our  mind is totally balanced it is the root of the direction of our career development process & it is in this line we can say the man is architect of own fortune.

This is an with our development our thinking line remains & expression for the way to the action & if our thinking & expression both remain our tune with ,we can certainly move on right road map of the future .

This is my personal opinion 

If the thought is fundamental the individual'sender thought is the holy grail or the core of the road map.  Like the quantum particles sometimes the individual'sender thought may explain some but not all we see and may still be relevant to the road map.  It's important to learn. It's okay to be wrong. It's okay to be alone.

There is nothing absolute in the world of humans thought but there is "relative" absolute in nature, as laws of nature are rigid, signifying absoluteness. For instance elasticity constants of things is absolute under normal circumstances, in which, beyond what can not be stretched will be broken or cut.  I will take the future as a situation/event  in which some one will be beyond today. Which includes conditions that the person had been in the past or a new condition that the individual had never been but in a worst condition or it may be a totally new situation with good condition. The future is not a location of an event in a linear way next to today but in a circular kind of an unknown direction. 

In mathematics of the past euclidean geometry had influence, but it was criticised in the 19th century. We can say that consistent set theory has a similar role. In the future to come category theory may acquire a similar position.

Outcomes of decisions – good and bad – help us learn and grow as individuals. Through involved decision making, experience, confidence and knowledge enriches our lives.

In this world, it is the dynamic interplay of human thought (living matter) and matter that is exciting. Every single human action counts in the  run (scale) of history; the direction of activity is either leading to more separation (1) or unity (2) of human beings as a whole living body. 1 is the state of growing pathologies and 2 is the state of sanity in the living organism. It is up to human thought and will to create 'heaven or hell' on earth and a peaceful future of human living chances, despite different perceptions of 'reality'.

Individual thought - can run simultaneously different 

Individual expressed  - alignment to one option of the intended.
