Child pornography is a non stopping business. Even though child abuse is very offensive to almost anyone is our society, people seem not to care about the enforcement of laws to take so many children out of the bondages of the perverse industry of pornography. What shall be done about it? Do you know of any policies in your local community which works properly? Do you agree that companies should be forced to implement controls to stop pornography websites being viewed from their computers? Should IT technicians report child pornography evidences on their customer's computer?
Yes. the recently issued child law in Oman address this issue and consider it as illegal with clearly stated penalties for adults involving children in such activities.
II have seen some of the inniciatives from Oman to stop children pornography. I believe that the Islamic or Arab culture play an important role for this protection to children in that country. It is a pity that there are many Omanians in order countiries being caught on such crimes against children. Probably this is why they decided to go somewhere else.
i am not aware of this...but may be your mixed with countries..are you sure it is Omanis...citizens from Oman...because as far as I know this is not a big problem in Oman even before the law was issued

Uzbekistan also join to the facilitative protocol approved in New York on May 25, 2000 about action against child pornography. As you mentioned, it should be throughly control all intra nets and local networks in country if there is not any regular web sites or pages distributing child pornography as it as possible. Of course, it is not easy and requires big endeavor from government. But I think it is needed to do all these works to evaluate and prevent this threat to the society.
