We are doing testing on electrospun fibers and so far for samples we have just been hand cutting strips out. Obviously by hand each strip has more variability then we now need as we are now seeking a constant area between samples for further testing.

Samples will be just simple rectangular strips of a set length but scissor cutting is not easy and other methods provide larger width and length variations.

I was thinking of maybe trying something akin a hole punch that we can just use in the shape we need. But if anyone else has any better ideas to get a more constant area for the samples it would be of great help.
