Hello, take your polymer of interest dissolve in PBS to give a final concentration of 1mg ml−1;

Take 400μl of this solution mix with 100μl of phage (1×10^11 PFU) and incubate at 37°C for 15min, 2 and 24h. You can see any depolymerisation product spectrophotometrically by monitoring absorption at λ235nm. Degradation of polymeric substrate can be monitored by TLC or by electrophoresis.
