Tea mosquito bug (Helopeltis sp) is serious pest in tea which causes up to 80% yield loss due to its infestation making tea production non profitable . As the insecticidal residue is the major concern or hurdle to use synthetic insecticides to manage. Are there any specific bio products of plant origin available for the management of this pest? Or id there any other non pesticidal approach for the tackling this insect problem?
Organically produced compounds aren't necessarily safer than synthetic ones for insect control.
