The ever advancing rates of diseases, destruction of the environment and its resources and natural disasters make one wonder whether the world is getting out of hand. What do you think? Kindly share your views my great colleagues. Best regards
Growing world population, exacerbate environmental problems and depletion of natural resources make one pessimistic about the future. If these issues remain out of control, the future of the world is in danger. Humanity efforts must come together to restore/ maintain of natural equilibrium.

I think that the future of humanity is in full danger because of environmental pollution, population growth and the industry of questions, and this leads to the end of the future of the Earth soon
We can only beat increasing complexity with complexity, call it the probabilistic imperative. The alienation from men to men and nature can only be overcome by mutual cooperation and existential guarantees; it is not enough to behave like technically competent barbarians and to monetize the resources of the planet. The spiritual forces of humanity are equally important as the physical forces; the cosmic laws of the universe do not run on profit, but on the mystery of harmony.
The world is getting out of hand more morally than for objective reasons, biased media is contributing, population growth is not the only problem, concentration of power and wealth beyound necessary and reason is.
Feature of humanity is grim because of power of race between counties, depletion of natural resources, population worst , pollution of environment , increase in nature calamities, etc
I am sincerely grateful for your valuable comments on the theme professors Dharmesh, Houda, Abiodun, Najib, Shibabrata, Mutasem, Stephen, and my good friend from Babylon. Best regards
The people are still living better in most of the places. The environment agonizes.. Therefore, the future is worrying even for those who dare not to stop hurting and depleting our natural resources.
I do believe the world is getting out of hand. It's interesting that, while this surprises us, it would not have surprised our medieval or early modern predecessors. We assume the notion of progress, based upon the scientific and industrial revolutions of the modern era. However, our predecessors assumed that the world was gradually degenerating with each new era. I simply reflect on the twentieth century, which saw more wars and more people dying from war than any previous century in world history.
The belief that the world is getting out of hand is turning into a reality. Even worse than ecological destruction, there are those uncanny maneuvers of thoughtless politicians whose decisions may lead to annihilation of the world. The only thing that can prevent this would be adopting a spiritual approach in which love and kindness replace competition , exploitation, and wars.
No the world is still manged by the creator! although of human activities to harm environment but still have a balance. Environmental crises are temporary, probably become something to think about, or challenge to do better to our environment.
I surely say No. because we are only highlighting the black side of humanity . What about it's shining part which can illuminating whole World with peace, harmony and love. We should be Hopeful and let do our jobs for the betterment of World.
Furthermore; These type of questions reflect that we were in World War 1 thinking about end of World then what happened ? Nothing .The wheel of time is ticking. Take another example of "End of World in 2012? Fake Maya "Doomsday" Calendar Explained" Why the World Didn't End . These are the rumors we are hearing so kindly don't be part of that .
It is natural that the human eye falls on a small dark point on a large white board, in a moment of weakness that makes the dark color predominant, but this does not last long. The earth and life have a great space for all people.
Initial we have to observe the world under the planetary influence consisting of human being of various categories , Plants , river , ocean , mountains ,& various nature of creative animals & birds . With this the scientific & technological development , researches have made us for human beings a happy & comfortable environment . With the passage of time , Human beings with their negative traits have spoiled & condemned the environment by their destructive action they have made the life of the people & social surrounding uncomfortable & with the passage of time we have noticed that it has created the Global Warming .
I have also expressed sometime back my views on Global warming which is submit herewith for your perusal & this is my personal opinion
Global warming is a MAN MADE CREATION & in order to have the punishment from wrong doing of innocent person & nature, cosmic environment ,planetary influence may become negative & unfortunately the entire human beings remains suffered. Is it the fact rather unfortunate that terrorism have shown their dirty face through various part of the world .
Not only that they kill the innocent person ,including small children who have still to see & understand the life they forget the fact that in their life they commit the sin which have not been permitted to any part of their religion . With this they are to receive the suffering from their sin in any way in their life but ultimate human beings are suffering & with their co action our HOLY MOTHER EARTH including the beautiful nature connect their with including our SKY ,OCEAN,SEA,RIVER,& the environment collected therewith showed us their ugly picture for our sufferings . 2015 is on the urge of completion & we all wish to forget the gloaming picture as let past while keeping our sweet memories of happiness including our PRAYER & WORSHIP so that May all enjoy the pleasure of beginning of 2016 only after 4 days .
The more opportunities of "making the world" man gains by scientific-technical progress the more risks of destroying the world we have to expec, wether we loose control about the tools of world destroying by accident or wether fundamental religious groups fight against this process with deadly weapons which give them very this rational-technical development of secularization. That's the logic of development of civilization in the last 300 years. The thesis of the "disenchantment of the world" /Max Weber/ is real part of modern life. The more rationality and scientific-technical feasibility our life determines, the more the magic aspects of world explanation meet the double effect, the secularization rationalization of the "modern" people is dearly bought by (religious-fundamental or by other systems of value bound) ideology of other groups who fight against this tendency. The world of reason will become smaller.
I appreciate your scholarly discussions on the subject. Thanks so much for your comprehensive history of the world's development while showing the roots of its woes. Best regards
A very good question. But instead of cursing the darkness, we light a candle Respect for all the opinions of my dear colleagues, yes the world will come out of our hands, but what is the solution to this great problem .... This is our role as researchers ..
"You may think the world is falling apart. Steven Pinker is here to tell you it isn't.
by Julia Belluz on September 10, 2016
If the last few months felt like the summer of sadness, you are not alone.
Every week, sometimes every day, seems to have brought more stomach-turning news. In June, there was the Orlando nightclub shooting, where dozens were killed and injured in the deadliest terror attack in the US since 9/11. Then came July’s blood-soaked Bastille Day in Nice, when a terrorist drove a truck over holiday revelers, killing 84 people, including 10 children. Before the month was over, ISIS militants had assassinated a French priest in his church and executed the patrons and staff at a cafe in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
These are just the more gruesome terror events that grabbed headlines — and only those carried out this summer. I’ve made no mention of what happened in Paris over the last year, or the airport killings in Brusselsand Istanbul, or, for that matter, San Bernardino.
And these are just the terrorist attacks. I’ve said nothing of the flaring racial tensions in the US, police shootings of black men, or the multiplereprisal shootings of officers — a cycle that played out again in August in Milwaukee, where protests erupted into burning riots following the police shooting death of 23-year-old black man Sylville Smith.
The political discourse of late hasn’t done much to soothe the anger or quell the hate. If anything, it’s inflamed matters. As Nick Kristof noted in the Times recently, Donald Trump is making America meaner, inciting violence toward immigrants and even his opponent, Hillary Clinton. ("Hang the bitch!" is a common chant at Trump rallies.)
All told, it can feel like we are sliding backward, toward a more violent, less tolerant time in history. Tomorrow's anniversary of 9 /11 may only exacerbate that despair.",...

"Every single day the world seems like it is on the brink of falling apart. But then I look outside my window, and things look about the same as they did a week ago. It's almost a form of cognitive dissonance."
Thank you for the fruitful advice in the rich quote you have offered us. Unity amongst people is the powerful tool that can help save the world. Best regards
