I am not an expert on the Mysticism and Spirituality Topic, nor have I ever met with a "Wicca", but as a Scientist, I think that it may cause a misconception about Ecology.
People believe in different entities or don't believe at all, But linking Ecological problems / sensitivity / responsibilities to a kind of belief could discredit it.
After a quick research, We see that wiccan worship equality for all species, prohibit sacrifice and devote themselves to the protection of earth, so they are in fact " ecologists", But they do not take it as a matter of science, they don't do it because of the increase of pollutions, diseases but mainly because " earth is divine".
So, it is not a wrong way to express it, But there are better ways to make people aware of the actual situation of the ecological systems and the problems that we face since some countries don't believe in "Ecology" or in "Global Warming" (as an example), even some Powerful Presidents who are surrounded by a huge community of scientists can discredit it, even with proofs, so they may link ecology to a sort of cultural or religious background and make it sound like a trivial topic.
