e-learning can be an alternative to direct education but e-learning need to be planned in a proper way. In Pakistan, Virtual University is a complete e-learning based university but its e-learning system is very organized and systematically planned. Direct learning-based universities are mostly unequipped to deal with e-learning that's why e-learning measures fail in these universities but some simple measures can be taken in the time of quarantine. Regular pre-recorded lectures for each subject can be presented through youtube or university websites. Live e-lectures can also be presented where students can also interact with the teacher and ask any questions during the lecture. Also, there must be a way of direct communication between teachers and students even after the live lecture or prerecorded lecture where students can ask their teacher any question and solve their queries. Students can also be provided a link to helpful material or study notes on the university website or social media page. Students can also be given assignments. If the university is technically sound, there can also be timed objective tests or there can be some other creative way of testing knowledge.

Where the shift to online instruction represents a challenge for a majority of teachers, another potential source of 'support' may be the learners who, in many cases, will have had far more experience than their teachers of ways in which the online world tries to promote 'learning' ( in all its forms) .
E-learning is good and classes can taken at any location, but for effective delivery the deployment is not just a sudden step, it is a plan procedure that must be properly plan to tackle the drawback of the system, for now it should be considered as the best alternative.

Resources & Tips for Remote Education During School Closures
Here are tips for all of the teachers who are working to quickly go online and for teachers and administrators who are calming the fears of parents who have never learned through online education and are fearful that their child will be left behind.
1. Take a deep breath and find a free learning management system (LMS) if your district doesn’t already have one. Google Classroom is free, as well as Moodle for up to 50 users. Finding a free solution will give you a guidebook, collaborative ability to work with students and other free resources to add rigor, engagement, and pedagogy to your online classroom.
2. All teachers must have lesson plans for their daily classes. So taking those plans and putting them online is a cinch. A classroom teacher and online teacher list the lessons directly on the LMS daily. Those lessons included objectives for the day, a warm-up question that the teacher later converted to a discussion forum in the LMS, the readings for the day, a video from the teacher on the key points of the lesson and any other lecture items that were needed for that day, as well as the assignments or exercises for that lesson. NOTE: instead of spreading these out throughout the LMS tools, The teacher made one page with links to the other pages in the LMS. This way students could go to this page, and complete all of the activities, readings, etc.
3. Next, you should make yourself available online for the period of the day that you normally teach. For this, you can use Google Hangouts, Cranium Café from Conexed, Skype or any other synchronous conferencing tool. If you are going to use this synchronous time as your regular class, be sure to record it if you can so that students can go back to it later. Also, those that do not have good internet can go back later and download the recording and listen to it. The teacher would also provide additional office hours for all students so you can be there to help them with any particular questions outside of class time.
4. Connecting students with other students! This is very important in online learning. Students who are used to being in a classroom enjoy the ability to get together and ask questions of their fellow classmates, especially if they are struggling with a particular topic. The teacher would set up some groups in the LMS or using Google Hangouts, the What’s Up app, GroupMe app or any other texting or video conferencing tool you have available. Most of these I mentioned are free for students. The teacher would set up the account and add all of the students if you can. This does require a cell phone for most of these, so working with young children this would not be as advantageous, but middle school and high school students will work very well.
For elementary school students, you could set up these groups for the parents and monitor the groups so that you can step in and answer any questions that may arise.

During this weekend I was busy with recording videos for my students. So far I finalized 4 videos, each up to 15 min length, and somehow I like this activity. My wish is to encourage other colleagues for such tip, as well as for other tips given by Ibraheem Kadhom Faroun. I am not professional for video, but you can easy learn recording learning materials, at least these with math topic(s)...
E-learning is too much work since you need to record videos and check everything online as well as sticking to your computer during work hours answering every single question. In my case we start at 8 am and finish by 3 pm. On the other hand it's still enjoyable for the children to work online and meet us online. Everytime I meet them on Zoom, I could see the excitemnt in their eyes. Students nowadays are more interesting in anything that has to do with computers!
Digital education was big trend far before Corona and educational institutions were advised to start digital transformation. Those who did it on time, they are going much easier through this crisis period.

It is a great solution, BUT no all schools, teacher or students have the tools to do it. There are families now without food and job. In normal conditions it will be perfect, for me this kind of education is for people with good social standing. and in a country that believe in this

Recording videos though it's good alternative course delivery, it still lacking the golden pedagogical rule of classroom instruction. Yet, teachers and instructors can still meet their students on regular basis whether to deliver scheduled lecture or to discuss course topics similar to instructor's office hours. However, and in all cases there should scheduled lecturing or office time that make the sense of commitment and involvement in official education of both sides; students and teachers. Nevertheless, having been able to simulate traditional learning environment in awayor another, we are still far away from finding reliable solutions for on-line course learning evaluation. Thank

While school closures seem to be a logical solution to imposing social separation within communities, long-term closings will have a disproportionate negative impact on the most affected students. These students have fewer opportunities to learn at home, and the time spent outside of school may represent economic burdens on their parents who may face challenges in finding care for their children for a long time, or even providing adequate food in the absence of school meals.
It can not be an alternative to traditional face to face teaching but it can substitute it in the Quarantine period.
My experience was positive regarding e-learning. I was able to differentiate. High ability students typed, low ability students circled or copied answers, while others gave oral responses. I also felt that students with ADHD were less likely to interrupt the lesson or distract other students. One high ability ADHD student was able to express him/herself by typing long answers, while a low ability students with ADHD was bouncing on his/her bed and still able to participate. I initiated 20 minute sessions to students that needed more attention.
Negatives: The students that suffered from online learning were some low income learners. Though the government gave free SIM cards and iPad loans from school some students didn’t utilise the resources properly. One particular KS2 students used it to play video games and only showed up to 2/20 lessons.
In my point of view, there is no safe method of teaching during this pandemic otherwise online teaching.
In my country Indonesia, the work from home policy continues in the new normal time, and the university teaching and learning process is not an exception. E-learning method is the only choice that has to be adopted with its advantages and disadvantages. Since it is the only option, though it is successful to a certain extent, it still needs improvement especially related to evaluation model, what are the options?
