Is the synthesis of silver nanoparticles using actinomycetes successful based on UV-Vis spectrophotometry?

I am currently synthesizing silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) using actinomycetes. For this sample, I used 25 mL of resuspended actinomycetes cell pellet and mixed it with 25 mL of 1 mM silver nitrate.

I’ve attached the UV-Vis spectrophotometry result for this sample.

Based on your experience, does this indicate successful AgNP synthesis?

Yes, you can assume that you have synthesized silver nanoparticles, since plasmonic absorption is observed in the visible part of the spectrum above 400 nm. The absorption band is cut off, apparently due to the high concentration of nanoparticles. The dispersion must be diluted to obtain a better spectrum.
