Regarding intelligence as in IQ, I believe it has. But with emotional intelligence it's no where close right now. The term intelligence is very broad and to think of intelligence as a narrow concept involving academic and technical success -- AI is more intelligent. However problem solving is not always straight forward and requires "out-of-the-box" thinking which AI lacks.
