4 dimensional space-time is a math or not? According to General relativity it is not, the space-time curvature gives gravitational force.
In physics there is a division of all the world on a matter and a field (they can convert to each other). So space-time continuum is a field in the strict sense of the word? Or the space-time is a matter? Can the space-time continuum convert from the field to the matter? Could you even say about it something or give references of theories or the experiments?

from a physicist's point of view there is a world out there, and the problem is how to describe it. Historically, the problem of describing our world has been met by creating geometry. But, as nowadays there are many geometries, and no one matches every aspect of reality, it can be safely assumed, that the geometric description is “in our minds”.
There are consequences. Thanks to Newton, it is expected that the heavens, as seen from Earth, have about the same shape as the extension between two buildings. This looks very sound and testable. However, in judging the distance between the buildings, one can avail of the experience of walking across the road, while the shape of heavens is almost based on the sense of sight.
Suppose now that a program of exploration of the universe is undertaken. In my opinion, it will give an answer to your profound question. If Einstein's bold general theory is real, in a sense no unpredictable phenomena can arise in deep space. If they will arise indeed, then the space-time continuum will appear as an undue generalization of the conditions prevailing on Earth.
Mathematically, a field is a function defined in some space. Space-time can't be defined on space-time, General Relativity deals with a Lorentzian metric field defined on a four-dimensional manifold. The metric field is very similar to a gauge field, with the essential difference that it is integrable, and that is what gives a manifold. In principle a strong gravitational field can produce a particle-antiparticle pair, but that is in the not yet understood domain of quantum gravity.
In my opinion space-time continuum are imagined in our minds. This imagination arise because of the oscillations that takes place in the most fundamental all pervasive infinite unbounded field which is perfectly without motion or oscillations. When the oscillations occur, the idea of wavelength and period arise with them. This is the birth of space-time. Motionless field is not energy, but when it begins move (oscillate), that part of the field gets transformed into energy which is bound by space-time. This is the birth of energy. This process is reversible. So when energy stops moving it becomes the field again. More details in following article and the references therein.
