I noticed that frozen normal tissues very often have much lower RIN values (from bioanalyzer) while matched tumor tissues still have pretty good RIN values. I suspect that it is because the tissues were stored in -80 instead of liquid nitrogen. I tried to Google but found no such research article. Would you please share some of your experiences? I am curious about this.
