Independently of our social status or our degrees, we all have the right to do science. We do science if:
1. We do an objective observation, an experiment or a rigorous reasoning based on evidence.
2. We report the results objectively and freely to the public.
This is the “politics” inherent to the scientific method. This is “the more obvious cause of science”.
More important than asking for money for scientists -or to criticize politicians or administrators- is to advocate for a legislation to protect or stimulate the citizens to search for knowledge in an independent and honest way, without any pressure or bias; and to create a platform to make accessible all of these contributions without discrimination or filters following particular interests.
Not only political but also commercial interest has affected science.
Is not this the more fundamental issue in scientific police?
