Too many demands and complex demands are one of the elements that cause meltdowns in autistic adults. Can meltdowns be used as an indicator to an autistic person's wellbeing? A live free of camouflaging. Some autistic people are lonely. Some autistic people need a sense of purpose. Some autistic people want to just focus on their special interests. Some autistic people are lucky they have supportive parents or partner who absorbs the pressures of life like driving, meal planning and preparation, paying bills, cleaning and laundry to allow the autistic person to avoid sensory overload and focus on their job role or give them the time they think they need for their real interests.
