Ultimately you must decide if it is a 'good' journal for you to publish in but looking at any journal I ask myself the following questions (and I provide my own answer after each)
Is it indexed on pubmed / medline / scopus and / or otehr major disciplinary databases that I am familiar with? (No - Google Scholar does not really count)
Is it a known and respected publisher? (No - can't actually tell who publishes it)
Am I familiar with content from the journal (No - bot you may be)
Do I recognise any members of the editorial board and / or am I familiar with the reputation of the institutions of some of them (No - but again. you may be)
Does the content look relevant for what I want to publish in it (for me no, but again you may answer differently)
So, I would conclude in this case 'probably not' - it may be a perfectly good journal in itself, but for me, it is unlikely to provide a good paper with the exposure it deserves and my peers are unlikely to know it by reputation and therefore 'value' a publication that appears in it.
International Journal of Medical Reviews and Case Reports (Int J Med Rev Case Rep) ISSN: 2534-9821 is a good journal but does not have Scolarity Indexing like Scopus, Web of Science and impact factor is also low.
International journal of medical review and case report is good peer reviewed journal but indexing in pubmed or Scopus is lacking . Otherwise Go with this journal
Yes, the International Journal of Medical Reviews and Case Reports (Int J Med Rev Case Rep) is a good journal. It is indexed in PubMed Central and Scopus, and has an impact factor of 2.35.
Dear Indika Wettasinghe The published papers look in terms of lay-out highly professional, but I see a number of disturbing things:
-International Sci Ink Press Ltd (https://mdpub.net/?sec=aboutpublisher ) is the publisher of not only “International Journal of Medical Reviews and Case Reports” but also of the very similar looking “International Journal of Surgery and Medicine” (https://www.ejos.org/index.php ) and a unsuccessful journal titled “International Journal of Agricultural Biotechnology and Food Sciences” (https://www.agropub.net )
-Contact info (57 Antim I str., Vazrazhdane, Sofia, 1303, Bulgaria) leads to well … not Sofia’s finest neighborhood
-The owner/editor published a suspiciously large number of papers in his own journal(s) see research items here https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Ivan-Inkov
-The journal management system eJM (eJManager) is mentioned in the Beall’s list (https://beallslist.net ), see also https://forbetterscience.com/2023/01/25/the-pullulating-polyps-of-omics/ where eJM was discussed not that positively
-Indexing info https://mdpub.net/index.php?sec=jindex mentions ESJI and ASI examples of so-called misleading metrics (https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/ )
-Not sure where some found the info about their impact factor but be clear this journal (https://mdpub.net ) has NO impact factor (simply because they are not indexed in Clarivate’s ESCI/SCIE or SSCI index, which can be checked here https://mjl.clarivate.com/home )
-The same is true for Scopus, they are NOT indexed in Scopus which can be checked here https://www.scopus.com/sources.uri?zone=TopNavBar&origin=searchbasic and not indexed in PubMed (or PMC)
So not sure whether predatory is the right word but the lack of any serious indexing would for me personally mean: avoid this one.
