Before I test some primer stock in the university I would like to know if B-actin is dimer or monomer. In case of dimerisation I need to perform new primers.
On your experience with B-actina what happens on the dissociation curve?
The query is slightly confusing.....are taking about the b-actin protien or gene or transcript......since you are discussing about qRT-PCR.....i couldnot find the relevance of mono or dimers in this context.....are you taking about how this protein is functions.....please clarify the query..
how ever to answer your query...b-actin has been used as reference gene in qRT-PCR and melting curve is proper if the reaction has been optimized perfectly...i never face any problem
