I am going to prepare TiO2 nanoparticles using plant extract. I want to ask how much time will it take to appear green color of solution to confirm the formation of TiO2 nanoparticles?
i have prepared TiO2 using plant extract , immediately after adding plant extract color change to yellow and i kept the mixture to stir for more 5 hours to complete the reaction. furthermore, the volume and concentration of plant extract are effective.
but in my case after adding plant extract immediately, the colour changed to orange brown. I am using titanium oxy sulphate with plant extract.
did the color of your reaction mixture change to light green or green after 5 hours?
no the color didn't change. i've used two different plant extract one of them turn to yellow and the other one change to orange. as u can see in the attachment files.
