Is the altered hormone level (especially elevated plasma prolactin level) important in identifying true seizures from pseudoseizures?

Highly effective treatment of catamenial epilepsy could not yet be established. However, there is an important investigation related to change in plasma level of certain hormones (especially the elevation in plasma level of prolactin) after seizure occurrence. Can we use these criteria for identifying true seizures from pseudoseizures?
