The organization/publisher behind this conference is called “Athens Institute/ATINER” https://www.athensjournals.gr this is a publisher listed in the Beall’s list of potential predatory publishers (https://beallslist.net ). This is a red flag. I see more red flags:

-The indexing info of one of the journals where your paper might end up https://www.athensjournals.gr/indexing mentions so-called misleading metrics (https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/ ) like CiteFactor and ESJI often used by predatory journals/publishers

-Looking at https://www.atiner.gr/politics and click on the “Conference Information” then I see two days with vague program info and three days of holiday trips…

-See also https://researchadvancedfacts.quora.com/https-www-quora-com-What-is-the-Athens-Institute-for-Education-and-Research-Is-it-legitimate-answer-University-Profess-1 and https://sacsanua.blogspot.com/2016/04/suspicious-and-possibly-bogus-academic.html

-There seems to be no indication that the “Athens Institute” is a ‘real’ scientific institute. Despite the impressive website https://www.atiner.gr with a photo of the National Archaeological Museum (misleadingly suggesting that this is the building of the ‘Institute’)

-They organize a lot of conferences in 2025 https://www.atiner.gr/2025conferences

Despite that there are some good points as well:

-Seven of their journals are member of DOAJ https://doaj.org/search/journals?ref=toc&source=%7B%22query%22%3A%7B%22bool%22%3A%7B%22must%22%3A%5B%7B%22terms%22%3A%7B%22bibjson.publisher.name.exact%22%3A%5B%22Athens%20Institute%20for%20Education%20and%20Research%22%5D%7D%7D%5D%7D%7D%2C%22track_total_hits%22%3Atrue%7D

-One of their journals is Scopus indexed https://www.scopus.com/sourceid/21101017026

I personally would avoid this one.
