I am just trying to run a CapLC coupled to a Q-tof. In isocratic mode it works fine, however once a single gradient step is set this message appears "Ternary gradient detected in auxiliary configuration". I am sure pump C is configured as auxiliary pump connected to the stream valve. This do not allow me runs using gradients. Any trick to avoid this?

I think that is a software bug. Looks like a message triggered randomly or at least as a consequence of different reasons and not due to a unique reason. We have improved a little bit the pumps, as we had some gas pressure leakage , but it has not improved much the situation. This and other messages use to appear and that's why I guess are a sort of random messages. We just reset communication with the instrument through the software or restart the inlet configuration window.
I will try to work with the software. I thank you for your answer.
