The journal “Social Education Research” is published by “Universal Wiser Publisher” (https://www.wiserpub.com ). It all looks (misleadingly?) professional; however, this publisher is mentioned in the updated version of the Beall’s list (https://beallslist.net/#update ). This is a red flag that you are dealing with a (potential) predatory publisher.
On their behalf they made a strong statement against their inclusion in the Beall’s list https://ojs.wiserpub.com/index.php/FSE/announcement/view/242 Furthermore I see besides their inclusion in the Beall’s list no red flags:
-All papers have a legit DOI (as far as I checked)
-They are indexed in Google scholar
-Their indexing info contains no misleading metrics (https://beallslist.net/misleading-metrics/ ) which you often see with ‘real’ predatory journals/publishers
-All papers have proper submit/acceptance date info, suggestion real and serious peer review
-Editorial board looks legit
So, predatory? I think no. Reputable? Well not yet, but this is (mainly) because they are relatively new so it is not possible to say right now (this will take another couple of years).
you should look for it in the list of journals indexed in Scopus, go to its Scopus link and download the list, and you will see if it is predatory or not
