Ounce for ounce, sea salt is pretty much equivalent to regular salt in terms of sodium. The push for sea salt over table salt comes from the consensus that sea salt "tastes saltier" allowing people to get the same flavor with less salt.

In my opinion, stone salt is, however, healthier, because sea salt, due to the high pollution of the sea is also contaminated.
