We found that the older our students were, the more positively they answered environmental behavior questionnaires (giving higher scores than younger students). Is anyone familiar with similar findings in other studies - either of general scoring trends related to age, or specific ones that have to do with environmental attitudes or behavior?

In addition to our work that Geoffrey cited, my colleagues and I have published a paper showing that response biases (such as mode effects) increase with age. Mode effects are when participants tend to report more positive and/or less negative psychosocial functioning on data collection modes that involve greater direct contact with interviewers/researchers and we found that they are more pronounced in two different adult samples:
