Is the classification efficiency of probabilistic neural network better than normal neural network classifier?. I am getting good results of EEG classification using something like feedforwardnet but very bad results using PNN. I don't know what is wrong. Please help me regarding this issue.
I am using the command newpnn in MATLAB to create an design a probabilistic neural network.
But I heard people saying that PNN is more efficient. Anyway can i get any document comparing the performance of these two? @ Alheeti

We cannot say which one is better. It depends on the dataset variance and biasnes.
Theoretically, the approximation capabilities of PNNs are better than classic ANNs when solving for time-varying function problems.
Can you send me a source to study about their performance comparision so tthat I cam get still vivid idea about both PNN and ANN? @ Alabbas
