I was differentiate hESC to astrocyte. In the second week of differentiation, I stained my cell with s100beta and GFAP.
I expected that the staining site of GFAP would come from the cytoplasm, but it was also confirmed that expressed in the nucleus(stronger then cytoplasm).
Is this position right?

Well, it is not unheard of.

There are two possible explanations: 1) bad antibody and 2) incomplete or weird differentiation.
If you have a positive control cells (neural stem cells, astrocytes etc.), try to confirm the antibody that it works there normally. If not, buy another antibody.
