Yes. I have used fluorescently labeled human Tf to highlight the endosomal system in various mouse, human, monkey, hamster, and dog cell lines and it works very well at 10µg/mL (10mg/mL will give non-specific labeling, think fluorescent dextran). The species specific Tf will work a bit better (higher Kd), however in the species I have tried the human Tf will suffice. Classically, when studying human cells, others and I use 5µg/mL, that said 10µg/mL will yield a better signal in human and a more so other cells.
