Is it wise to use Qubit™ dsDNA HS Assay Kit for dsDNA concentration on nanophotometer or platereader?

I do not have a Fluorometer and I was wondering if it is possible to use a nanophotometer instead?

If you don't have access to a device measuring fluorescence, don't bother using a fluorescent dye, just measure the A260, and, if possible, the A260/A280 ratio.
