Silver nano particles formulation having a notifiable positions in biomedical research. It is already emerged in the food and feed industry as a potent antibacterial agent. Recently some of the researchers have also synthesizing silver nanoparticle of plant extract and doing number of in vitro studies on antimicrobial and anti-cancer activity. Only few number of articles were there about its in vivo studies through oral administration.

The safety of a nanoparticle depends on the minimum concentration (in mg/kg body weight) of that nanoparticle at which it does not show toxicity to the living organism. You can find this information in literature regarding toxicity of silver nanoparticles. A plethora of data is available on this subject. A few good papers are listed below:

Thank you Mr. Ruchir Priyadarshi, I had gone through your attachments and also read similar articles. All these articles are explaining the nano particles with some synthetic drugs and also evaluated the sub -acute toxicity studies for weeks to months, but in case of plant extract the treatment must be for minimum 45 days up to 6 months.
But only few articles were there on the plant extract silver nanoparticles given through oral route.
Like many answers in science, the answer is 'it depends'. I'm reminded of the old Slovene proverb: 'All mushrooms are edible; some of them only once'.
For investigator- It is encouraged to evaluate it and get confirmation!
