Which type of mistake do you introduce when you use a double barrier system in a commercial software simulator?
I 'm developing a model with an acoustic commercial software for the environmental noise (ray tracing). I tried to use a double barrier system to reduce the noise of an industrial plant. I simply put two close barriers in the model but I'd like to understand which type of mistakes can the software generate.

if i understand correctly, you are shielding the noise of an induatrail plant by two barriers. The errors by any software depends on boundary conditions and mesh settings, Like we perform radiation shielding by multiple barriers in different simulators.

What is the difference between the values obtained by the formulas of the double diffraction in the ISO 9613-2 norm with the values obtained by simulation?
It really depends on the software you are using. You'd better understand how the software handles double diffraction. My own experience with Raynoise, an old software using ray tracing and I am not sure whether it is still in the market or not, or whether there is a new version or not, was that I found out it didn't actually consider double diffraction even though you can set up a double barrier model in the software, the ray simply dies after the first diffraction. So be careful when you grab a software trying to model something.
