I am more concerned about microbial remediation only. Not phytoremediation. Several researchers around the globe claim to remove or remediate heavy metal contaminated soils using soil microbes.

I agree that it is possible to concentrate heavy metals from contaminated soils into microorganisms.
My question remains: how to separate or remove efficiently and economically these metals/microorganisms from the bulk of the contaminated soil?
That is the big question Dr Kan. Because the metal eventually remains in the soil.
