Of course, use content analysis by developing different categories to measure pro or anti Islamist direction, and prominence, of content in newspapers or TV or any medium of your choice ; framework of agenda setting and framing analysis will be your theoretical framework.
Dear Jess Owen, Thank you for your interest, but i can't understand what do you mean about "news framing" isn't a theory, it's a technique used PR agents to malleate "news delivery".
It depends on your academic interest. If you are interested in studying how editors report social movements then you could use, among others, framing to understand what issues and how these issues are highlighted. Framing has become increasingly popular in media research. Framing makes reference how events and issues are organised and highlighted. They are used by media professionals, audience researchers in communication , sociology and in political science.
Thanks dear Idid, I'm working on a doctoral thesis about the role of Egyptian newspapers in shaping of the Egyptian public attitudes towards the Islamist movements in Egypt, I'm trying to studying the effect of framing Islamist movements through what reporters and editors write, but I find that they are taking certain news and ignore other, especially after an Egyptian government classified some of these movements as terrorist groups.
Dear Atef Youssif, though the following is not focused on Your regional and national interest, maybe you will find additional information on your topic and method in:

Ruediger Bredthauer (No need to google me. As a postjob PhD researcher I am not much interested in investing in the glamour of my researchgate profile. At the moment I'm occupied with shedding some light on the conceptual confusion with the notions of frame and framing. As far as I can observe this from your above comments, the way how You use the concept will not be concerned by my criticism)
