I am currently doing Flame Ionization Testing on engine. To connect the probe to the combustion chamber, I drill a 2mm hole near the combustion chamber and insert the probe and glue it by using ceramics It is possible for it to work?

In internal combustion engines, small stick probes are often used for different measurement purposes, e.g. temperature in a piston. Unter normal operation, the piston is moving in the engine and it is not easily possible to apply a measuring device. In this way, small probes are bonded into small holes in the piston. It is important, that the bonding material is resistant agains high temperature and vibration.
