We are planning an experiment with avastin. The tumor cells we are using is a murine cell line. Is it possible to use avastin in non-nude mice? does avastin will be active on tumor from murine origin, or the humanized antibody recognize only the human VEGF protein?

Terrance Grant Johns , thank you for your kind reply. I can see in the article you have attached that the researchers showed the antibody do recognize the murine VEGF-A. Still, it is unclear whether they chose nude mice because of the treatment or because they used a cell line of human origin.
