I want to simulate RBC aggregation using cellular automata, but I can not find adequate literature on the subject. I have only access to literature freely accessible by the use of browsers. If someone can tell me where to look I'll be grateful.
I do not know about the works using cellular automata for specific tasks - aggregation of red blood cells, but the aggregation of cells is discussed in the chapter of Alber et al. "On cellular automaton approaches to modeling biological cells" in "Mathematical Systems Theory in Biology, Communications, Computation, and Finance"
For an cellular automata to be used you need rules that defines the state of each cell depending on the state of its neighbors. I'm not sure that the RBC model follows that pattern. For example. this net logo model for leucocytes, despite it seems to be a cell automata, actually it is a numeric model
