As far as I know, it's not possible to do it directly. You should define the discrete energy levels created by the QDs with adequate parameters like energy position, capture cross section, density, etc, depending on the materials. I'm not sure if the model considers interaction between the introduced levels, i.e. carrier transitions, a crucial issue. Thanks imroze for your reply...i already went through this paper..since they did it using silvaco..it means that it is possible..but there was nothing specifically about the models used...
