Is it possible to remove polyethylene layer from disposable paper cups? I want to remove polyethylene layer from disposable paper cups for my research purpose. I found in some papers to remove manually by hand. but I need some system to remove PE layer in industrial scale.

I suggest you to determine the thickness of the PE layer on the surface approximately. Then design a stainless steel cutter blade with sharp edge which is usually used for cutting, slitting, peeling and slicing. This cutter can be installed on top of the surface disposable paper cups. The distance between the blade and the surface should be slightly more than the thickness of the PE layer, so that it does not peel off the surface of paper cup when peeling the PE.
