Multiple choice questions have been shown to be useful in measuring not only lower order cognitive skills like recall and understanding but also higher order thinking skills like critical thinking, application and evaluation.

I was wondering if there is any way, this question format can be used to measure 'creative abilities' like originality, flexibility, fluency, elaboration etc.? I am not interest in getting a 'self-perception of ability' but I am interested in tapping the demonstrated creative ability through MCQs.
