Green knowledge management seeks to incorporate green or environmental elements into all parts of knowledge management. Furthermore, knowledge management (KM) is the act of identifying, organizing, storing, and sharing information inside an organization. In addition, it is gaining popularity due to worldwide environmental challenges. As a result, professionals in organizations employ their knowledge of green elements when developing new goods or services. Thus, green knowledge has a positive effect on green innovation within the organization. Furthermore, environmental concerns have a negative impact on organizations. Most organization management incorporates green themes into their culture. Thus, green knowledge has a positive impact on the green culture within the organization.
Despite that GKM isn't my research field still, I know some about green innovation & Knowledge management. I could say that effective green knowledge management ensures that the organization has access to the latest information on sustainable technologies and practices. This knowledge can inspire and inform the development of innovative green solutions. So basically It involves practices that organizations use to identify, acquire, process, and share knowledge related to environmental sustainability. It includes learning about sustainable practices, environmental regulations, green technologies, and eco-friendly processes (Practices could be through interdisciplinary collaborations, training & awareness...).
