The process of soil fertility evaluation is as old as agriculture . Many developments have taken place in both scientific analysis of soils  from various angles and precision-based   instrumentation , duly backed up by our skills to interpret the soil fertility -related data using various interpretation tools, geo-spatial tools being one of the latest additions. Many studies in the past have established some definite relations between extractable nutrients in soil and plant response in quantifiable terms. And they are being  commercially exploited towards  harvesting better maketable  crop yield . What is the opinion of our friends about the possibility of having the evaluation of soil fertility through different layers of parameters , so that   nutrient supplying capacity of soil is judged in a rightful manner.
