Is it possible to have band gap of 3 to 4 eV for WS2 thin films? If yes then in which scenario?

its difficult to obtain 3-4 eV energy gap of WS2 thin film, So you can try to prepare nanofilm with thickness less than 75 nm.

that nano film of WS2 with thickness less than 75nm have high band gap, has it been reported?
I understand the impact of thickness but is there any literature that has reported it.
If yes, please help me by sharing any link of the paper on the same.As I tried searching over it but couldn't figured out anything regarding it.
