At present, the experience is that one receives loads of invitations and requests for feedback to publications outside one's field of specialty and interest. So the question is: Is it possible to have a new feature in Researchgate that will help scholars recognize people people in their field of specialization and send their publications to those only?
receiver can guess by seeing the title, whether useful or not. Researchers may be involved in different field at a time, such as radioisotope Production: Nuclear engineering, Chemistry, Physics and various instrumentations etc.,

Creating a new feature may limit the length and breadth of research, since knowledge has intertwining relationship. Research results from a particular field might be directly or indirectly useful in another field. Therefore, it is good to have a faint knowledge in other fields. I think it is better the way it is. It is now left for the researcher to filter what is not of interest to him/her.
I think it is a great compliment when a researcher requests a publication outside his/her main field of specialization.
One should always strive to broaden your understanding of other specialties, and I for one would not request a publication from a fellow researcher outside my field of interest unless I am of the opinion that it could broaden the scope of my understanding and perhaps answer a question I'm struggling with.
There are numerous examples of technology/methodology of one field re-invented/innovated and successfully applied to solve a problem in what appeared to be a non-relevant and non-linked field of expertise.
Having a narrow focus is a requirement in answering a specific hypothesis, but oft times it requires a broader vision first in order to define the answer.
