Is it possible to get different fluorescent from same compound with different subtituent in TLC?

me and my friend synsthesizing 1,3,4-oxadiazole with different substituent (just the position actually, mine is ortho and my friend is para)

It is very likely that 2 different compounds will have differences in fluorescence quantum yield and spectra.
