Punjab farmers are able to produce any commodity but feel helpless at the time of its marketing, thererfore, our concern is how would it be possible. Is it possible to double the income of Punjab farmers?

Honestly it is difficult as Punjab AH farmers are very skillful and they are very updated but apart from some states i feel it is possible in India where agriculture and allied disciplines are still not organised yet. but for Punjab it is more like not possible. But along with AH practices if they can do a parallel entrepreneurship they can enhance their income

Nothing is impossible. But it needs lots of planning. The livestock sector's contribution to total agricultural GDP has reached 37 % in Punjab and it is continuously increasing. Higher investments in R & D activities in this sector can play an important role in fulfilling our dream of doubling farmer's income..
