I am asking this question due to the reason that in the public sector institutes/ organizations, a group of employees do not work collectively and always there is push and pull tactics. How can we presume that FPO's formed by the officials of these institutes will work collaboratively/collectively and help in enhancing the margin of profit of farmers?
We have to come forward and join hands for improving our profit margins. A small farmer has low produce and low bargaining power. Collectively they have bulk of produce and better bargaining power and the profit earned by middlemen is also reduced/eliminated here. Cooperation is required for success of FPOs which are good initiative in present era of declining profit margins especially among small and marginal farmers.
